Diu Island: Diu Island is located off the coast of Gujarat in western India. It is part of the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The island is known for its Portuguese colonial history, pristine beaches, and historic forts.
Majuli Island: Majuli Island is situated in the Brahmaputra River in the northeastern state of Assam. It is the largest river island in India and is famous for its unique culture, Vaishnavite monasteries (sattras), and traditional arts and crafts.
Rameswaram Island: Located in the Gulf of Mannar in Tamil Nadu, Rameswaram Island is known for its religious significance. It is believed to be the place from where Lord Rama built a bridge (known as Adam’s Bridge or Rama Setu) to Sri Lanka in the Hindu epic Ramayana. The Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram is a major pilgrimage site.
