Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Capitals by 77

The Chennai Super Kings defeated the Delhi Capitals in 77 runs sets to secure a place in the Indian Premier League playoffs here on Saturday.

Opener Devon Conway(11 four’s and 3 sixes) took 87 runs out of only 51 and Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed 79 runs out of 50 deliveries, securing a good 223 for 3 CSK. On the other hand, DC made only 146 for 9 with skipper David Warner 86 on 58 balls.

Deepak Chahar finished with 3/22 of 4 overs while other bowlers Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana got two tickets.
