Next CM Siddaramaiah in Karnataka

The Congress officially announced on Thursday Siddaramaiah as the chief minister of Karnataka and D.K. Shivakumar as the Deputy CM, ending days of speculation and eventful discussions.

Hence, Siddaramaiah will be the Chief Minister of Karnataka and D.K. Shivakumar will be the only Deputy CM, said KC Venugopal, Secretary General of the Congress at a news conference.

The designated CM-Siddaramaih, Deputy CM Shivakumar and a group of ministers will be sworn in on May 20,” he said.
